Our Licensing programs for medical and long-term care facilities have been nominated for a national award by the Region IX Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services office for our High-quality work in the area of Survey and Certification under difficult circumstances; Significant performance improvement in meeting the goals of the Medicare and Medicaid Survey &Certification program; Outstanding leadership in crafting creative solutions to difficult problems; and Effective use of information to promote the goals and objectives of the Survey & Certification program.

Whether we end up winning this national award, it’s clear that this nomination recognizes our Licensing team (and the Operations folks in IT and Rules that help them) for their outstanding contributions to meet CMS performance expectations, enhancing consumer complaint management, and to improving health outcomes in the areas of pressure ulcer and restraint reduction.
