The supplemental nutrition program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is the nation’s most successful and cost-effective public health nutrition program. The Arizona WIC Program provides free healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding services, and community referrals for income-eligible women who are pregnant or postpartum, infants, and children up to five years old. WIC connects moms with resources outside of WIC, including health care professionals like doctors and dentists, immunization services, substance abuse counselors, and social services.

On February 16 at 9:30 a.m., there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the renovated Chino Valley WIC Trailer Clinic in Yavapai County. The renovated clinic was made possible through a U.S. Department of Agriculture Government Infrastructure grant and will provide a great setting for WIC moms to find a welcoming place for nutrition education and support.

Please visit to find out if you are eligible, find a WIC clinic, or learn more about healthy eating, breastfeeding, and other services.
