CDC released their new National Action Plan for Preventing Child Injury this week. The goals of the National Action Plan are to raise awareness about the problem of child injuries and the effects on our nation, offer solutions by uniting stakeholders around a common set of goals and strategies, and mobilize action to reduce child injury and death. Visit the Child Injury Vital Signs site to find the Vital Signs MMWR article, fact sheet, and podcast. Take advantage of CDC’s social media tools, such as the RSS feed, Everyday Health Widget, and Vital Signs buttons. You can also have Vital Signs sent directly to your own website to display through our content syndication service.

Children are so commonly faced with injuries and stuff. Initiatives like these are really commendable as they raise the desired level of awareness among the people.
