Registered Dieticians Day happens every year during National Nutrition Month. This year it was March 14th – RDs have degrees in nutrition, dietetics, public health or a related field and work in many different jobs to make sure people know what food they’re eating and the impacts of those decisions. The day recognizes them for their commitment to helping people enjoy health lives. National Nutrition Month® is a nutrition education and information campaign celebrated every March by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. The campaign focuses attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits. There are 17 RDs at ADHS: Jaclyn Burm-Chamberlain; Matthew Connolly; Denise Coyle; Tasha Foster; Terri Green; Karen Henry; Susan Leo; Heather Liddell; Taffery Lowry; Margaret Mack; Zarina Pabin; Fay Pezely; Carrie Pfab; Connie Robb; Sharon Sass; Karen Sell; Marlene Williams. Not all of whom were available for the photo. Take a moment to recognize the RDs in your life.
